What are business leaders now doing

as Brexit gets closer?

Since my last update, Brexit has been in PAUSE mode.
We’re all waiting for the battle between Jeremy Hunt (a Remainer) and Boris Johnson (the pro-Brexit candidate) to become our next Prime Minister to reach its conclusion.  The UK will have a new Prime Minister in place on 23 July.  From that point, things should start hotting up!

While Jeremy Hunt may have reduced Boris’s lead recently, it is still predicted that Boris will be our next PM and he is saying he will take the UK out of the EU on 31 October with or without a deal.

So, what are businesses now doing?  It is clear from the increase in relocation authorizations coming into us that business leaders have pressed the GO button and are no longer willing to keep their plans on ice while politicians kick the can down the road.  And while senior relocations to cities in the EU bloc are increasing,  VIP moves to London are also on the rise.

I will keep you updated as matters unfold.   Meantime, please don’t hesitate to use our contact form with any questions.
