Snow causes severe delays

Snow descended upon London this morning and is continuing to cause havoc on commuter links in and out of the Capital this evening.  Rail commuters are facing disruption out of Charing Cross, Cannon Street, London Bridge, London Blackfriars and Waterloo mainline stations.

Major delays have been reported on the main Hastings line via Sevenoaks and the high-speed link from St Pancras to Ashford.

South West Trains have also reported disruption from Waterloo with delays up to 1.5 hours on the Woking route.  Trains from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour are being diverted via Cobham but not calling at Woking.

Transport for London (TFL) were this afternoon reporting a good service on all London Underground route.

Make sure you check before you travel home this evening!
