As if being a world beating pop star wasn’t enough, Robbie Williams is also finding success wheeling and dealing his London property. The Take That singer has just sold his Chelsea Harbour penthouse for, if rumours are to be believed, a mighty healthy profit.
Williams, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, is one of the U.K.’s most successful pop singers. At the height of Take That mania, Robbie bought the posh penthouse to escape from all the press attention. Now, however, with a wife and baby, the bachelor pad appears to have lost its appeal. But it was certainly a canny investment, as prices in Chelsea Harbour have seen significant gains in recent years.
Estimates of Robbie Williams’s wealth stand in the region of £100 million and, since selling the penthouse, Robbie has viewed an even more luxurious property close to the King’s Road, so it doesn’t look like he’ll be leaving Chelsea any time soon.
Chelsea has always been a popular part of London with the rich and famous, especially with people in the music industry. Chelsea Harbour is one of the area’s smartest developments, enviably located on the riverfront, and Robbie’s penthouse flat was something very special indeed. With three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a balcony and a patio, as well as private parking and concierge services, whoever bought this should be delighted with their new property. With fantastic views up and down the river and overlooking one of London’s smartest marinas, it will not fail to impress.
