Another Saturday option is the final day of the annual Hampstead Festival. The annual celebration is packed with fun activities for the family as well as food, craft stalls, live music, and art. Summer Streets on Regent Street: For Shopaholics and History Buffs alike!
Summer Streets on Regent Street allows shoppers the luxury of no cars on the normally bustling road. While making shopping more enjoyable, Summer Streets also lets architecture and history enthusiasts seize the opportunity to explore the area to their full advantage by downloading a free iPhone app from the app store (Regent Street Walking Tour) which gives a step-by-step walking tour of the street’s past, design, and construction. Cool Down With The World’s Largest Sprinkler in London
Also on Saturday and Sunday, you can cool down at Victoria Park while Juicy Water’s pop up sprinkler runs. Don your swim gear and bring a towel to enjoy the British summer and an impromptu sprinkler party – all for free. And the icing on the cake? At over 8m long and 7m high with 5m spurts of water, this sprinkler is soon going to hold a Guinness World Record for World’s Largest Residential Sprinkler. Nearest tube: Bethnal Green/Mile End.
