London Could Have an NFL Team Within 5 Years

Jaguars and Bills on Short List for Relocation

Good news for NFL fans in London – New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is one of many NFL executives thinking globally about expansion of one or more teams to Europe.

NFL executive vice president Eric Grubman advised that Kraft and Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt believe the league’s International Series is “the most important thing that people are working on that involves the playing of games.”

There’s very little chance it would be the Patriots moving to London, but the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills are on a short list of teams that could relocate in the future since they have older stadiums.

Additionally, the Jags have played a game every year in London since 2013 and are scheduled to do so through 2020.

Kraft also noted that one of his main concerns would be the logistics of getting a team over to Europe.  This echoes what many clients of Saunders 1865 say as they prepare to move employees and their families overseas.  Saunders 1865 has over 30 years of relocation experience and expertise in settling families, finding schooling and home searches.
