Using tourism figures, Euromonitor International has ranked the world’s top 100 most-visited cities, with London coming in fourth place.
London attracted 16.8 million international visitors in 2013 (the last year for which the stats are available), narrowly trumping rivals Paris (in fifth place with 15.2m) and New York (7th place with 11.9m).
London is also the top-ranking city outside Asia.
