IKEA to Increase Jobs in the UK

IKEA Home Furnishing in UKFurniture retailer IKEA is set to create more than 1,300 new jobs in the UK in spite of Britain’s decision to leave the EU.

The company plan to open new stores in Sheffield later this year and in Exeter and Greenwich, London by 2018.

The new jobs will increase the number of employees to 11,700.

IKEA revealed that it has been experiencing solid grow in the UK for five consecutive years, and other home improvement firms have released similarly resilient results.

Ikea joins the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon and many other global brands that have boosted investment in the UK since last year's referendum decision to leave the European Union.  All the economic trends fly in the face of the gloom and doom that was preached by the Remain side.
