HSBC investment bank turns up the heat
Makes bold senior executive appointments & international VIP relocations
HSBC is stepping up a root-and-branch overhaul of its global banking and markets division with some interesting high-level appointments and VIP international executive relocations.
The bank has appointed a new finance chief and ex-investment banker Ewen Stevenson in a bid to recover ground lost to rivals.
The bank has apparently secured some senior executives from rivals, including former JPMorgan banker Greg Guyett as head of global banking and former Goldman Sachs banker Peter Enns as the global head of its financial institutions group. It is expected that the appointment of Georges Elhedery will lead to improved productivity and morale in the bank's global markets business. Mr Elhedery, is relocating to London from Dubai to take up the role.
At this crucial time for the global banking industry, there are many high-level international moves taking place. These are the type of international relocations that have been our niche for more than 30 years at Saunders 1865.

Not the easiest relocation in more ways than one. Saunders 1865 has done a tremendous job keeping things positive and on track. Love the company and thanks for helping us through the many challenges of moving across the pond.
