After what seems like a life time, Baz Luhrmann’s much anticipated film of the American classic novel, ‘The Great Gatsby’ has hit the UK cinemas last Friday.
The film starring Leonardo DiCaprio who plays Jay Gatsby, tells the story of a guy during the Roaring Twenties, who is determined to win the heart of his old love Daisy Bechanan, played by Carey Mulligan.
Set during the American Prohibition, ‘The Great Gatsby’ shows the glamour of the Jazz Age elite. The alcohol might have been illegal but you can’t deny they knew how to throw one good party!
If you can’t have your own extravagant party this summer then head to your local cinema this weekend…
