Team Recommendation for Expats: Set your clocks to British Summer Time (BST)
Times they are a changin’. Actually though, this weekend UK clocks will spring forward restoring the time difference between the US and UK to what it normally is and snatching away an hour of sleep we won’t get back until the winter. Make sure that at 1:00 AM on Sunday March 30 (or before bed on Saturday night) you set your clock to spring time. Doing so right away helps avoid forgetting and the consequences of forgetting, such as ending up late to work on Monday. More importantly, it ensures you’re on time to watch Sunday football. Whatever your priorities are, remember to reset clocks, watches, microwaves, dashboards and the other time telling devices in your life; it is simply more convenient.
British Summer Time Riddle: If Hermione Granger (or any other wizard/witch) used her time turner as the clocks were changing, would the time turner follow summer time or winter time? Or, would she end up straddling the two in spring?
