Adele to Move Back to the UK?

Singer ‘Tired of touring’ and house hunting in London

Adele moves back to londonI hear that Adele wants to be back in the UK.  My favourite singer wants to move back to London to be closer to family and friends now that her ‘25’ tour is completed.

Last year Adele purchased a $7 million home in Beverly Hills but apparently was never content with her new place or Los Angeles in general and is ready to be back in London.

I also hear she wasn’t very happy about Donald Trump being elected American President.   Adele was openly pro-Hillary.

But enough of that!  As a relocation professional that has looked after the house-hunting needs of a fair few celebrities and VIPs in my 30 years in this business, I’m a lot more interested in what area of London Adele will pick to live in.  Maybe Kensington again, in a suburb like West Sussex, or Berkshire… there are so many wonderful options.

Our London Area Reports portal is a good place to start looking in-depth at different areas of our wonderful capital.  But it’s always best to engage the services of a local relocation professional who has the knowledge of all the competing local property markets.  We act for buyers and renters, never for sellers or landlords.  Therefore we’re free to give independent, objective advice because we’re only interested in looking out for our clients’ best interests.

Estate agents have the opposite role.  Their goal is to get the highest possible price (or rent) for their seller (or landlord) and their income (commission) is driven by that fact.

And from the house-hunter’s point of view, searching for property burns so much time.  There is a massive amount of research to do; so much going from Agent to Agent; so many viewings of totally unsuitable homes because Agents don’t listen to your needs properly – or they simply prefer to work on the “throw enough mud against a wall and some of it may stick” principle.  It’s a lazy principle that pushes most of the work on the buyer or renter.  And with the surge in cheap, online estate agencies, the service to home seekers is only getting worse.

Celebs and VIPs are cash rich but time poor.  That’s why they use relocation professionals who take all these chores off them, hold their hands throughout the process, and robustly represent them during negotiations.  They also enable the client to remain anonymous (if that’s what they prefer) which can avoid the propensity for prices to be hiked when they know the buyer (or renter) has a bottomless pit of money!  Sorry to be brutal but it’s true!!
