Adele moving back to London – Looking for a Flat

Why celebs love VIP relocation support

Adele moving to londonIt's fascinating to hear that my favourite singer may be moving back to London. Adele reportedly viewed several multi-million-pound apartments in Chelsea early last month, including a £29.5million seven-bedroom, seven-bath duplex with 24-hour security.

The singer will be leaving behind her $9.5 million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills where she has been living for the last two years for a new home in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

It is entirely understandable that family seems to be her main reason for her return. Adele and her husband, Simon Konecki, have a five-year-old son called Angelo – and they are keen to be closer to family in the UK. After living for a period myself in the USA, I had to return to be close to family so I completely understand why Adele would make this move.
I also hear that the singer is a huge fan of the capital and made a special visit to the Grenfell Tower Memorial recently. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is a fantastic choice of neighbourhood. I’ve lived and worked here for more than 30 years and I’ve helped many VIPs get happily settled in the area.

More and more celebs are choosing to hire relocation professionals to help them find and discreetly secure their perfect property and provide comprehensive international moving support.  That’s hardly a surprise because they have very little time and the UK estate agents can be very stressful to deal with.

VIP clients don’t have weeks and weeks to view unsuitable homes.  They need to make a decision quickly and they don’t want to have their valuable time wasted.  Relocation professionals work for them, never the property owner.  The relocation professional will pre-screen and shortlist properties to save the client’s valuable time.  They deal with the estate agents and property owners and can keep the client’s identity confidential.

Retaining a relocation professional means searches are handled discreetly so the client remains in the background, avoiding any awkward questions.  They have the ability to provide local knowledge on a number of different areas, so no time is wasted during the search and a number of pre-screened properties can be viewed in a short time frame.  Having independent, objective advice who is not commission-driven is extremely valuable for these VIP clients especially.
