Moving to Surrey – Weybridge & Walton-On-Thames
Are you moving to Surrey – Weybridge & Walton-On-Thames? As long as there have been commuters, Surrey has been a popular place to live. The combination of its proximity to London, its convenience for the capital’s main airports and, originally, it’s pretty countryside has always attracted City workers. Over the years the so-called ‘stockbroker belt’ has become increasingly built up but it still represents a hugely appealing option for those who don’t want to live in Town.
Weybridge and Walton-on-Thames are both towns located in the Elmbridge district of Surrey. Both are suburbs in the London commuter belt, and six of the ten most expensive streets in South East England (defined as the official government region, which excludes Greater London) were in Weybridge. Walton-On-Thames is between the towns of Weybridge (to the south-west) and Molesey (to the north-east). Its waterside has the Thames Path National Trail between Sunbury Lock and Shepperton Lock, so suffice to say this area is breathtakingly beautiful.
